The INNOVAMOS project consortium held a new international coordination meeting with the aim of advancing the main actions planned under this initiative, which focuses on promoting innovation, knowledge transfer and university entrepreneurship.

During the meeting, the partner organisations reviewed the progress of the training programmes, innovation workshops and the development of tools aimed at connecting the scientific and technological capabilities of universities with the needs of the business community in the participating regions.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to share the results of the recent Innovation Workshop, held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which brought together more than 120 participants, including researchers, businesses and stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem. This event established itself as a networking platform to foster knowledge exchange, identify opportunities for collaboration and develop new joint initiatives.

The consortium also discussed upcoming activities planned for Madeira, the Azores and several African partner countries involved in the project, reinforcing INNOVAMOS’s commitment to international cooperation and the creation of innovation networks between Europe and Africa.

Through these actions, INNOVAMOS continues to make progress towards its goal of strengthening knowledge transfer, promoting research-based entrepreneurship and fostering collaborative projects with an impact on regional development.
