On April 30, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM, the Science and Technology Park of ULPGC (FCPCT-ULPGC) will host InvestigaFest 2026, an event designed to connect researchers and innovative companies in the Canary Islands in a dynamic environment for collaboration, exchange of ideas, and networking.
InvestigaFest is an interdisciplinary event that will bring together researchers from the two main public universities of the Canary Islands — the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and the University of La Laguna (ULL) — along with innovative companies from the archipelago. The objective is clear: to create a meeting space between companies and researchers to identify business challenges, share knowledge, and generate new opportunities for collaboration in R&D&I.
During the event, attendees will be able to take part in various activities designed to facilitate interaction between academia and business, including:
- A talk on open innovation and university-business collaboration.
- Working sessions between researchers and companies focused on specific business challenges.
- Networking spaces to share ideas, explore projects, and create new partnerships.
In addition, the event will include a live performance and a cocktail reception, offering a more informal setting to continue sharing ideas and building new professional connections.
