08/13/2025

The InnoVamos project continues to advance in its mission to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in Macaronesia and West Africa, fostering collaboration between the academic and business sectors to boost R&D&I and knowledge transfer.

On this occasion, one of its partners, the University of Madeira, is offering a research grant for PhD students in the fields of Economics, Management, Mathematics, Engineering, Humanities, or related areas, through a public call. The aim is to attract new research talent to contribute to the project’s activities, developing skills in data analysis, preparation of technical reports, and generation of applied knowledge for the regional business fabric.

The selected researcher will take part in tasks involving the collection and statistical processing of information on the business ecosystem, preparation of technical documents, literature review, and coordination meetings within the project. The grant will have an initial duration of 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for up to 24 months.

Applications may be submitted within 10 working days following the official publication of the call, with the deadline set for next 25 August 2025. Full information, as well as the application form, is available in the official call document (Click Here).

Through this initiative, InnoVamos reaffirms its commitment to the development of specialised human capital and the strengthening of ties between research and business, which are key to fostering innovative and sustainable development in the region.
