The project took part in two key forums to showcase its objectives in innovation, knowledge transfer and territorial cooperation
The INNOVAMOS project took part in the second edition of Bridge to Africa, an international event held in the Canary Islands that brought together institutional representatives, universities, companies and specialists from different European and African countries to address new opportunities for collaboration in strategic areas such as innovation, sustainability, education and knowledge transfer.
The initiative, promoted by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the University of La Laguna, with the support of Casa África, the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, once again positioned the Canary Islands as a connection point between Europe and Africa for the development of joint projects and the creation of international partnerships.
In this context, INNOVAMOS had a presentation space where its main objectives and lines of action were introduced, focused on promoting innovation, knowledge transfer and university entrepreneurship. The presentation was delivered by Alice Gervasoni, project technician, who explained the actions currently being developed by the consortium together with universities, entities and international partners.
Participation in Bridge to Africa helped open new spaces for dialogue and networking with agents from the innovation ecosystem, encouraging the exchange of experiences and the identification of future collaboration opportunities between European and African institutions.
Likewise, INNOVAMOS was also present at the S3 Summit, a forum focused this year on the theme «Outermost Regions: territories with a future?». During the event, the InnoVamos project poster was presented, an action that made it possible to showcase its objectives, areas of activity, implementation status and the role of the partners involved in this Interreg-funded initiative.
This presentation represented an opportunity to increase the project’s visibility at an event attended by the Vice-President of the Regional Government and the Regional Secretary for Science, Innovation and Development.
Through its presence at these international forums, INNOVAMOS continues to advance its commitment to territorial cooperation, the strengthening of innovation networks and the creation of joint initiatives aimed at territorial development and effective knowledge transfer.
