The Tenerife Science and Technology Park is a company created on January 12, 2006, majority-owned by the Tenerife Island Council. Its mission is to help diversify Tenerife’s economy by developing a culture of innovation as a key to improving competitiveness. Focusing on global innovative and technological companies and entities that carry out research, development, or unique production of applied technology in the Park’s enclaves, promoting knowledge transfer and the recruitment of specialized talent, with the aim of fostering the growth of local innovative or technology-based companies, promoting technological entrepreneurship and startups, and attracting global companies to the Tenerife Science and Technology Park’s enclaves.
General objectives of the Tenerife Science and Technology Park:
• Create innovative spaces that foster cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and technologies between research institutes and companies.
• Promote technological transfer and the development of technologies, as well as business and industrial commercialization in Tenerife.
• Offer actions and services that encourage the creation and successful development of innovative and technology-based companies.
• Attract and channel foreign investments based on knowledge, innovation, and technology.
